My favorite DMO and destination with the best practice of sustainability Located in the northern part of Lake Zürich, this cosmopolitan city is Europe’s most central location. Home to 1,498,600  residents, it is considered Switzerland’s most populated city (Swiss Statistical Office, 2018). Foreign residents from all over Europe come to Zürich to enjoy its natural wonders and multi-cultural character.
